RAILROADING IN GRAND CANYON COUNTRY
RAILROADING IN GRAND CANYON COUNTRY
The busy BNSF double track mainline across northern Arizona provides a lot of potential for train watching. During my year working in Grand Canyon National Park I had a few opportunities to observe this route. I also rode on the Verde Canyon Railroad and of course the Grand Canyon Railroad. I devoted albums to each of those rides. There is also an album of my visit to Winslow, Arizona and the Canyon Diablo bridge. Here are photos I took while train watching at other locations.

Flagstaff

This is the passenger station in Flagstaff, Arizona. Amtrak still makes daily use of this station. There is also a small museum and tourist information center located in the building.
