LAWS RAILROAD MUSEUM
LAWS RAILROAD MUSEUM
Just 4 miles outside Bishop, California, the Laws Railroad Museum and Historical Site is a good window on the late 19th and early 20th centuries. A small collection of 36 inch guage railroad equipment is the centerpiece of the museum, but a number of historic buildings have been relocated to the site. These buildings house numerous collections of historic artifacts to give a snapshot of life during the period in which the Carson & Colorado Railway trains moved up and down the Owens Valley.
