Every member of the family, regardless of age, will enjoy the exhibits and activities available at Augusta Station. Even before entering the Station you can sit on the stone wall to watch the many fish in our pond fed by water cascading down the hill above the parking lot. The pond is set in a prize--winning garden.  Inside visitors will see one of the largest N scale layouts anywhere and other fascinating model train exhibits. Most vistors also take time to race slot cars or operate radio controlled construction equipment. Before you leave, browse our toy shop featuring classic toys, games, and puzzles plus Thomas Tank Engine & Friends. These pleasures are all found at Augusta Station.

The Katy Trail state park stretching across Missouri is popular with bike riders from everywhere in the Midwest. Of the thousands of bicyclists who pedal down this path many may be unaware they are riding on the former roadbed of the Missouri Kansas & Texas Railroad. The title "Katy" is the historic nickname for the railroad arising from the intials "M-K-T". Let Augusta Station model trains connect you to that heritage.

On the Katy Trail in the Missouri River wine country a visit to Augusta, Missouri is like coming home to a place you've never been - it is the hometown of yesterdays. Widely known as a destination for wine fanciers or a weekend getaway in several B&B's, a day of fun and interesting family activities can also be enjoyed in Augusta and the surrounding countryside. This time bring the kids!
